It is said that every child brings new hope to the world. Then, who are we take away hope from a child. At Diya we strive to reach every nook and corner of the society and light up the lives of under privileged children, with love, with care, with hope. We believe in making their foundation strong. Concentrating on long term well being of the child rather than providing them with happiness that's temporary. We achieve this by imparting them with free education and counseling. Turning them into confident and compassionate human beings who are capable of standing on their own feet. And this also positively impacts the overall well being of their family. It instills in them renewed optimism and confidence.
Today, Diya is an ISO 9001:2008 certified NGO. Our schools are making a difference to two hundred and seventy under privileged children. In addition to a caring faculty we provide them with free books, midday meals, stationery, uniforms and also free medical care whenever required. They get a conducive environment to grow up into responsible and morally sound individuals. Our new endeavor, Chetan Play Way School is changing the lives of 45 children. In a society that is constantly fighting the evils of abuse to women, Diya Foundation hears out the plight of women. We make them financially independent by offering them training in computers and vocational skills. Society's repositories of wisdom, our elderly, are also cared for in our old age homes. So that they can lead a more secure and full life. Our numerous free health and de-addiction camps provide under privileged people with proper healthcare which they otherwise can't afford or access. Diya is on a mission. A mission that will change India for the better. And every kind of support that we can get is welcome. Thank you all for sharing our passion.
