Diya Foundation is committed to provide health care to those who otherwise go untreated.
Healthcare projects incorporate a community development approach which is underpinned by the values of ecological sustainability, social justice and human rights. It is for this reason that we concentrate our efforts in remote areas where often the most deprived and disadvantaged people live.
The healthcare projects includes awareness of various diseases, free health check-up camps, availability of a charitable diagnostic center, provision of General Physician and Homeopathy Doctor. These projects are being implemented in the slum clusters so that it can reach to the people for whom the facilities are built.
Moreover, community development enables disadvantaged people to have the opportunity to voice their needs and desires which guides them to take steps toward higher fulfilment and empowerment.
